Hi, I’m Nicola — the face behind Lands of Dreams

I’m a mum, a sleep consultant and someone who knows first-hand just how much a lack of sleep can affect family life.

Lands of Dreams was born from my own experience of motherhood.

When my daughter was little, we experienced our fair share of sleep struggles. She had Cow’s Milk Protein Allergy (CMPA), which we didn’t discover until she was around three months old, and later, when she turned one, her sleep became incredibly difficult again.

We reached a point where she was waking every 20 minutes. We were exhausted, overwhelmed and constantly wondering what we were doing wrong.

Eventually, we decided to work with a sleep consultant ourselves — and it changed our lives.

At Lands of Dreams, I believe sleep support should be about more than simply getting your little one to sleep.

It’s about you, too.

My Qualifications

  • Level 3 Sleep Consultancy Practitioner

I have qualified through completing this qualification via the Sleep Consultant Academy in September 2026.

Realistic sleep support that fits around you

I know that real life doesn’t always go to plan. Days can look different, plans change, and sometimes you just need to get out of the house!

That’s why I don’t expect you to cancel your plans, stay indoors or put your life on hold for three weeks while working on your little one’s sleep.

Your sleep plan will be designed around you, your family and your everyday commitments, with flexibility where possible. We’ll work together to find an approach that feels realistic and achievable for your family — because sleep support should fit into your life, not take over it.

My Approach to Sleep Support

Parents are important too

It’s easy to focus completely on your little one’s sleep and forget about the person who is often running on empty — you.

Your needs matter too. I’ll make sure you feel comfortable, listened to and happy with the approach we’re taking, while considering your own needs, parenting style and what feels right for your family.

My goal isn’t just to help your little one sleep better. I want to help you feel like yourself again — to have more energy, feel more confident and be able to get through your days without constantly feeling exhausted.

Support that lasts

I don’t want you to finish your support and then find yourself back at square one a few weeks later.

That’s why I spend three weeks working alongside you, rather than simply handing you a sleep plan and leaving you to figure it out alone. We’ll have time to see what’s working, what isn’t, and make adjustments along the way so that your plan is genuinely helping your family.

And if we reach the end of those three weeks and you’re not where you hoped you would be, I won’t simply say goodbye and leave you to it. We’ll look at what’s happening, what might need changing and what further support may be appropriate.

My goal is for you to feel confident, supported and happy with where you’ve got to — not like you’ve been left to figure it out on your own.
